The hurdles are made of a lightweight plastic, increasing safety if they get knocked over. The rounded bottoms allow the hurdles to rock back and forth easily instead of falling over. The hurdles can also be used for jumping drills. Adjusting the space between hurdles also allows you to practice stride length drills.
