They are set at different heights, so that most preschool aged kids will be able to easily make shots, and even slam dunk on the lower hoops. The stand’s 36-inch wide base makes it highly stable, and unlikely to get knocked over. Having multiple hoops makes it easier for kids to practice shooting at different angles, and also lets multiple children play together more easily.
