Customer Questions

Tonya Frandle asked:
We recently purchased the Frog Hop for our library. We are finding that there is quite a bit of shedding with the frog. It is causing quite the mess. Is this expected behavior?
Thank you for reaching out regarding the Frog Hop. I’d like to provide some insight into the product's construction to help determine if what you are seeing is standard. The Frog Hop is engineered using Recycled Vulcanized Tire Rubber bonded with a specialized Urethane binding material . Because of this granular construction, it is relatively common to see a small amount of "shedding"—essentially loose rubber crumbs—shortly after the equipment is first installed and put into use. To help me investigate further, could you let me know: Duration: How long has the equipment been installed? Type of Debris: Is the "mess" consisting of small black rubber granules, or is the color coating itself peeling? Photos: If possible, please send a quick photo of the debris and the surface of the Frog Hop.
