Customer Questions

Stephanie asked:
What is the recommended size of person to safely use this seat? What is the minimum weight and hight requirements?
Hi there, Thank you for reaching out with your question regarding the High-Capacity Large Adaptive Swing Seat! To ensure the seat is a safe and comfortable fit, here are the key guidelines to consider: Age Range: Suitable for ages 5 and up. Weight Limit: Designed to safely support up to 300 lbs. Height Guideline: The recommended minimum height is 42 inches. However, the most important factor is making sure the harness fits securely without riding up during use. Fit Test: Because children grow and develop with different proportions, we recommend a physical fit test rather than relying solely on height guidelines to ensure compatibility. Please let me know if you have any additional questions or need help with anything else!
Matt asked:
If I order this swing, what is the width that I would drill the holes from center of hole to center of hole? Also, how much space would I need on each side of the swing and what is the total width of the swing?
To ensure safety and proper functionality for an 8-foot wide swing bay, please follow these specific measurements: the seat itself is 32 inches wide and requires an 8-foot wide adaptive swing bay that is suitable for the adaptive seat only. Instead of drilling holes into your posts, you can purchase swing hangers that fit the specific top rail of your swing. For proper installation, your hanger spacing should be 21 inches from center to center to align with the seat’s connection points. When the 32-inch seat is centered in your 96-inch bay, you will have 32 inches of clearance on each side of the seat to meet safety requirements.
Deborah asked:
Can I order just the straps? Ours broke.

Greetings, Dana! I am happy you asked about the seat width of the High-Capacity Large Adaptive Swing Seat! Since the chair is designed for a larger person than an average 12-year-old, it has an internal measurement of 21 inches.
