A tower of fun for all to see, Shire’s Shield is another addition to PlaygroundEquipment.com’s Castle Series of play structures. Contrasted with typical play structures, which are expansive and take up a great deal of square footage on playgrounds, Shire’s Shield is compact yet chock full of exciting avenues of play. With its low elevation, Shire’s Shield makes an ideal play option for toddlers as well as children who may not be able to get around as easily as their peers. For these kids, the Bongos and the Rain Wheel are ideal, as they encourage imaginative play. Moving on up the Draw Bridge Climber or the single-step stairway, children will be drawn to the Clock Panel and the Ball Maze Panel, both of which encourage kids to use their hand-eye coordination abilities. What Shire’s Shield lacks in size, it makes up for in the wide range of activities it facilitates.
